DANIEL EGERT

DANIEL EGERT June 28, 1929 October 29, 2025 On October 29, 2025, surrounded by his family, Daniel Egert graduated into his eternal reward at the age of 96.
Daniel was born in Rudnik, Poland and immigrated to Canada in 1939 with his family settling near Edberg, AB. In 1959, he married Lilly Radke and together they built a life that was rooted in love, devotion and faith, raising their family. As members of Southside Pentecostal Assembly, he served joyfully and faithfully and participated in church life. He dedicated 35 years of service to Zeidler Forest Industries until his retirement in 1994.
Daniel was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He leaves to cherish his memory, his devoted wife of 66 years, Lilly; his sons, Dennis (Lynae), Brian (Beverly), Rodney (Jennifer); and daughter, Cheryl (Duane); his grandchildren, Alexander (Jaela), Joshua (Annaliese), Nathan (Hannah), Ciana (Breton), Brittany, Abigail, Ethan, Colton, Sydney, Kendyl, Noelle; and two great-grandchildren, Lillianne and Elijah.
Daniel was predeceased by his parents, Anton and Lydia Egert; siblings, Waldemer, Hilda, Alfred, Leonard, Raymond; and brothers-in-law, Raymond Riske and Ervin Stebner.
He leaves to mourn his siblings, Jennie, Lilly (James), Ronald (Margaret), Edna (Werner), Helen (Adolf), Harold (Grace), Eldon (Shirley), Linda (Darrell); sisters-in-law, Erika, and Esther; and numerous nephews and nieces.
A Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, from 7:00 pm- 9:00 pm at Serenity South, 5311 91 St. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at 2:00 pm at Southside Pentecostal Assembly, 2821 109 St., Edmonton, AB.

LARRY TREKOFSKI 1938 ~ 2025 Larry Leverne Trekofski of Edmonton, beloved husband of Noreen Trekofski (nee Ford), passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2025, at the age of 87 years. Loving father of Lori Lynn Penny (Keith), Byron Trekofski (Nina Kovach) and late Darwin Trekofski (Emily Zheng). Cherished grandfather of Afton, Amalia, Aris, Aja, Finn and Maya. He will be sadly missed by his sister Clairie Leitch (late Del) and his brother-in-law Doug Ford (late Karen). Dear uncle of Gaye Grenier, late Crystal Leitch, Jamie Leitch as well as Kilby Kinley, Maureen King, Penny Bohn and Wayne Ford. Larry was predeceased by his parents John and Freida Trekofski (nee Sturm). The memorial service will be held in the Pattison Funeral Home & Celebration of Life Centre on Saturday, November 8, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. with Mark Neubauer officiating. NORMAN LIPPERT

NORMAN LIPPERT 1941 ~ 2025 Norman William Lippert passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025, at the age of 84 years. He played many roles in his life: son, husband, father, friend, handyman, business owner, and life of the party. Living his entire life in Medicine Hat, he seemed to know everyone and was fondly greeted wherever he went. His lifelong passion for photography was legendary, and his collection of more than 30,000 slides and photographs are a treasured family history. As an avid gardener he spent countless hours cultivating the flowers and shrubs that were the backdrop to many family weddings and celebrations over the years. He and his wife Beverly lived and loved in the brick house on the corner for 46 years, welcoming friends and family with open doors and open hearts. He loved antiques and history, woodworking and his 1967 Chrysler Imperial. Life wasn’t always easy, but he had a smile and a ready hug for anyone who needed it.
Norm is survived by sister Fern Anton, and two sons Dustin Lippert (Neeloffer Mookherjee) and Tim (Jackie) Lippert. He was predeceased by his wife, Beverly Ann Lippert; his parents, Grace and Arthur Lippert; son Lenny Lippert, and brother-in-law, Harvey Anton. A private graveside service will be held. DALE DOLA 1954 ~ 2025 It is with heavy hearts that the family of Dale Larry Dola announce his sudden passing on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the age of 70 years. Dale’s memory will be cherished by his children: Erin Harward, Jason (Cortney) Dola, and Christine (Nelson) Burbidge; the mother of his children, Marcella Dola; and his beloved grandchildren Payton and Brant Dola, Henry Harward, and Annie and Ethan Burbidge. He is predeceased by his parents, Henry and Rose Dola, and survived by his siblings: Darrel (Terry) Dola, Shannon (Bill †2025) Yeast, and Renee (Jim) Seitz, as well as several nieces and nephews.
