newsdesk@medicinehatnews.com Four individuals from Medicine Hat are facing charges in connection to multiple vehicle thefts in the southwest region of Saskatchewan throughout October. Mounties in Leader, Sask. arrested four individuals on two separate occasions on Oct. 10 and Oct. 12 as result of a continued investigation into the string of vehicle thefts around Leader and Kindersley. On Oct. 5 Leader RCMP received a report of an overnight vehicle theft from a business, and police were able to locate the vehicle in the Kindersley RCMP detachment area. Police also say on Oct. 9, 10, and 12, they recovered an undisclosed number of vehicles, all reported stolen, from the same detachment area. As a result of an ongoing investigation, 31-year-old Amber Mcnab, 32 year-old Daniel Vierling, 40-year-old Jeffery Lawless and 47-year-old Andrea Christianson, all from Medicine Hat, have each been charged with one count of possession of break-in instruments. Lawless has also been charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and two additional counts of theft of a motor vehicle. Lawless has been charged with one count of break entering and committing and one court of possession of ammunition. Additionally both Lawless and Christianson have also each been charged with one count of break and entering with intent. Moreover, both Christianson and Vierling are each facing an additional charge of one count of possession of property obtained by crime. Police have also charged Lawless and Mcnab with one count of theft of a motor vehicle. Mcnab was also charged with an additional count of theft of a motor vehicle. Mcnab appeared before a Saskatchewan provincial court on Oct. 14. Lawless is scheduled to make a court appearance today and both Vierling and Christianson are scheduled to appear before court on Nov. 20. 12
