Rattlers golfer Wyatt Bishop shot a tournament-low 67 on Wednesday, finishing the second day of the Canadian college championship, hosted at Desert Blume Golf Club, sitting in third place. Bishop, five under par, is two strokes behind the leader Thomas Grenier of Champlain St. Lawrence. Medicine Hat’s four other men’s golfers finished day two in the top-40. Keelan Burzmisnki (+7) is tied for 17th after shooting 77, Rylan Hodgson (+12) is tied for 28th after a round of 79, Hayden King (+14) is 32nd after shooting an 83 and Isaac Stehr (+21) sits tied for 40th after an 84. On the women’s side, Ava Bratvold (+49) is 14th after shooting 97 and Kiara Reesor (+49) is tied for 15th after a round of 95. Zoe Hodgson (+79) finished the second day in 21st after shooting 106. The Rattlers men’s team is tied for fourth with St. Clair College at 28-over. Champlain St. Lawrence’s team leads the tournament at even par. The Rattlers women are split across two ACAC teams, sitting fourth and fifth. The Canadian College golf championships continues today at Desert Blume ahead of the final round on Friday. 9
