This Saturday the city is inviting residents to step into the spooky world of the Historic Ewart Duggan House, which is being transported into a textile haunted house by artist Shanell Papp.
The come-and-go experience will allow visitors to walk through the immersive haunted house and explore works that reflect on impermanence, grief and the haunted.
“Through her research-driven practices in textiles, sculpture and multimedia, Papp creates an environment that balances eerie playfulness with thoughtful reflection,” reads a program description.
The Textile Haunted House is open Saturday from 1-3:30 p.m., and again Oct. 23 from 7-9:30 p.m.
Additionally on these dates Hatters can participate in a free 15-minute outdoor haunted walking tour held by Miller’s Herbs & Haunts. The tours, maximum 10 people each, will depart outside the Ewart Duggan House at 7, 7:30, 8 and 8:30 p.m.
