This Saturday, take a trip to Redcliff for the Fall Festival and enjoy an afternoon of autumn activities, including the inaugural Chili Cook-Off.
The Fall Festival is full of free activities, including pumpkin carving, a penny carnival and a magic show at 2 p.m.
The festival also features the Something for Everyone Fall Market, which will offer seasonal refreshments like hot apple cider as well as crowd pleasers like hot dogs, mini donuts, ice cream and dirty sodas.
The Chili Cook-Off is a new addition to the Fall Festival lineup. For $5, chili connoisseurs can taste each of the entries and vote for their favourite creation. The proceeds from this event will go toward the Redcliff Youth Centre. Chili will be available by the bowl while supplies last, or until 3 p.m.
This year’s Fall Festival will run from noon to 4 p.m. at Lion’s Park in Redcliff on Saturday.
