Football clubs all play final game ahead of strike pause

Medicine Hat’s three high school football teams went undefeated in their final games before ATA strike action.

The Monsignor McCoy Colts beat the Strathmore Spartans 20-14 Friday at the Methanex Bowl. After the Colts win, the Medicine Hat High Hawks tied the Cardston Cougars 28-28. On the road, the Crescent Heights Vikings beat WR Meyers 28-21.

Due to the job action from the Alberta Teachers Association, all extracurricular activities, including high school sports, are on pause for the duration of the strike.
