The annual Antique and Collectible show is returning to Medicine Hat for the 21st time this weekend.

It will run concurrently with the Gun and Hobby show and sale, now entering its 17th year.

The show will run Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cypress Centre.

This year’s show will consist of over 300 tables and booths offering goods from all across Western Canada.

Organizer Tim Hittel says the shows have continued to grow year after year and bring back returning vendors.

“I’ve had vendors here since day one, 21 years ago,” he said.

“It’s a huge show. It’s the biggest one in southern Alberta. There’s so much to see.”

The show will also provide a platform for some charitable fundraising. The Rotary Club, the Fish and Game Association and Pheasants Forever will be selling memberships and 50/50 tickets.

The antiques show will feature furniture, glassware, coins, tool, jewellery and sports cards, among many other types of collectibles.

On the gun and hobby side, the show will feature modern and collectible rifles, shotguns, scopes, knives, optics, reloading and ammunition.
