Illya Khazov had a goal and an assist, both Gibson Studer and Taisen Yake scored and Trevin Ibach potted the game winner 23 seconds into overtime. Jake Druar made 17 saves in the win. The Tigers lost 6-3 on Sunday to the Okotoks Oilers. Khazov had a goal and an assist and both Dane Friedt and Rhyder Arnold scored. Griffin Stenger had 23 saves. The U17AAA SE Tigers finish the exhibition season 2-1 and open the regular season Sunday at the Hockey Hounds Arena against the Calgary Royals. U18 The U18AA Hounds opened their season with a 6-5 loss Saturday to the West Central Tigers. All three of Nixon Kunkel, Brody Dick and Jaxon Benci had a goal and an assist. Griffin Aadland and Mavric Ward each scored as well. Hudson Corbett made 55 saves. The Hounds (0-1) host the CRAA Gold on Saturday at the Hockey Hounds Arena before hosting the Airdrie Lightning Sunday at the Kinplex. U15 The U15AAA SE Tigers had two games over the weekend to start their season. They lost 10-1 Saturday to the Calgary Royals before falling 4-0 Sunday to the Calgary Flames. Haysten Biech had the Tigers’ lone goal Saturday, Hunter Knoll made 45 saves. Hunter Munro had 38 saves in the loss Sunday. The U15AAA SE Tigers (0-2) host the Lethbridge Golden Hawks on Friday at the Hounds arena before facing the Calgary Northstars on Sunday. The Medicine Hat U15AA Hounds lost their opening game Sunday, falling 3-2 to the West Central Tigers. Hudson Schutte and Bentley Thares each scored for Medicine Hat, Colson Neigum made 45 saves. The U15AA Medicine Hat Hounds (0-1) host the Okotoks Oilers on Saturday at the Hockey Hounds arena before facing the Foothills Bisons on the road Sunday. U13 The U13AAA SE Tigers beat the CBHA Hawks 7-3 on Saturday. Callaghan Tjeerdema had a hat trick in the win, Shawn Mrowil had two goals and an assist. Both Jaxon Kalo and Koa Steinkey scored as well, Dawson Ressler made 27 saves. The U13AAA SE Tigers (1-1) host the Red Deer Chiefs Saturday at the Hounds arena before racing the CBHA Wranglers Sunday. The U13AA Hounds had two games over the weekend. They lost the first contest, tying the Red Deer Chiefs 5-5 on Saturday before falling 6-5 to the Bow Valley Timberwolves on Sunday. In the draw Saturday, Max Chisholm and Cohen McLaren each scored twice and Austin Hall scored a solo tally. Asher Nardari made 28 saves. Exton McGarvey led the offence in the loss Sunday with two goals and an assist. Hull had a goal and two assists and both Max Chisholm and Austin Schneider had a goal. Treyson Donnelly made 27 saves. The U13AA Hounds (0-1-1) host the West Central Tigers Sunday at the Hounds Arena. 27
