The Medicine Hat Drag Racing Association’s 2025 season raced to an end this weekend.
The Drag Strip held two days of races with the Friday Street Legal class kicking off the weekend before Saturday’s Southern Alberta’s Fastest Streetcar Shootout.
On Friday, the Street race class was won by Randy Hastings of Medicine Hat. Fellow Hatter Pail Illson finished second.
The Friday Night Bike race was won by Adam Hettler of Redcliff, finishing ahead of Medicine Hat’s Dennis Cotten.
Saturday’s Streetcar Shootout had six different classes of races.
The Jr. Street class was won by the lone racer, Jackson Richter of Lethbridge.
Zac Henderson of Redcliff won the Daily Driver race, finishing ahead of Dillon Merkel from Brooks.
The Main Class was won by Russell Flaman of Regina who finished ahead of Colin Gee of Rouleau, Sask.
Brent Stephens of Melfort won the Klutch King class, Bryce Hungerford of Lethbridge came in second. The Real Street class was won by Kelly Prosser of Lachburn, Sask. Bryan Schiffner of Calgary came in second place.
The Street Bike class was won by Clayton Potter of Calgary, Hatter Dennis Cotten came in second.
