Brooks individual found in possession of child porn

Adirel Gimenez, a 23-year-old from Brooks, has been found in possession of child pornography and will go before court next month.

Brooks RCMP partnered with ALERT’s Internet Child Exploitation unit, known as ICE, on Sept. 4 to execute a search warrant.

Police say Gimenez was found in possession of child pornography, although details on what officers found have not been publicly released.

Gimenez has been released with conditions which include not attending any public swimming area, school, playground or library, and is scheduled to appear before court Oct. 15.
