South Country Co-op to host outdoor cinema Friday on 13th

South Country Co-op on 13th Avenue SE will hold an inaugural outdoor cinema on Friday.

The outdoor movie showing, previously postponed on Aug. 8 due to rain, will be held in the back parking lot of the 13th Ave. grocery store, and is open to the general public.

The showing of Inside Out 2 is free for Co-op Kid’s Club members and their families, those not signed up for the Kid’s Club can enjoy the flick with a cash donation, all proceeds to be donated to the Medicine Hat Paediatric Unit.

The first 25 Kid’s Club members in attendance will receive a free snack goodie bag. The Co-op Grocery Store will also remain open, servicing grocery shoppers and also serving as a large concession stand.

The movie is slated to get underway at dusk (approx. 8:30-8:45 p.m.) and attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs to sit on.

Those interested in signing their kids (12 and under) up for the Kid’s Club can do so on the South Country Co-op website.
