The Thunder Red opened their Westerns play with a 9-2 win over Manitoba’s Central Energy. Gracie Eddy had three hits and four RBIs in the win. Ryleigh Jackiw had a pair of hits and an RBI. Adriene Campbell worked six innings, striking out seven. They lost the second game Thursday, falling 14-6 to Manitoba’s Interlake Phillies. Jackiw had three RBIs and a pair of hits, both Eddy and Kendall Smith had two hits and an RBI. Campbell started the game, working three innings with six strikeouts. Jackiw threw 2.2 innings, striking out one and Tretton Cavers worked an out. They beat Saskatchewan’s Saskatoon Selects 2-1 on Friday afternoon. Jackiw scored once and had a hit. Campbell started the game, working all seven innings with nine strikeouts. They lost 6-2 to the B.C. RM Pride. Eddy had the Thunder’s lone hit in the loss. Cavers threw five innings with one strikeout, Campbell worked two innings. They lost 6-5 Saturday morning to Saskatchewan’s Lumsden Cubs. Peightyn Williams had three hits and three RBIs, Gracie Ulmer had a hit and an RBI. Campbell struck out six in seven innings pitched. The Thunder finished their Westerns action with a 7-5 loss Saturday to B.C.’s CS Extreme. Campbell had two hits and two RBIs, both Williams and Jorja Perry had two hits and an RBI. Cavers threw 4.1 innings with a strikeout. Campbell worked 1.2 innings with two strikeouts. 12
