Two Medicine Hat Tigers will represent the United States at the Hlinka Gretzky Cup.

Forwards Shaeffer Gordon-Carroll and Noah Davidson were on elf 23 players named on Saturday to the U.S. roster for the U18 tournament in Brno, Czechia and Trencin, Slovakia, from Aug. 11-16.

Gordon-Carroll had six goals and 25 points in 55 games in his rookie season with the Tigers. He added two goals and five points in 17 playoff games en route on the Tigers’ championship run.

Davidson signed with the Tigers on June 19 after spending last season with Shattuck St. Mary’s. He had 40 goals and 72 points in 58 games with Shattuck’s U18 Prep team.

Gordon-Carroll previously represented the U.S. at the 2024 Youth Winter Olympics held in Gangwon, South Korea, winning gold.

The U.S. opens their tournament on Aug. 11 against Slovakia with an 11 a.m. MST game. They’ll face Sweden on Aug. 12 (7:30 a.m. MST) and Germany on Aug. 13 (7:30 a.m. MST).

Gordon-Carroll and Davidson will be joined at the tournament by fellow Tiger forwards Markus and Liam Ruck who are representing Canada at the eight-team tournament. It would take a playoff matchup for the two teams to meet.
