Interpretive Centre hopes to finally host its Sun Art event on Aug. 14

After having to cancel previous attempts due to a lack of sunshine, the Medicine Hat Interpretive Centre is hoping third time’s the charm for its Sun Art program.

On Aug. 14, MHIP is inviting residents out to this drop-in art program. Participation is available by donation, and interpreters estimate that the craft should only take roughly 15 minutes.

The program will be available starting at 1 p.m. at the Nature Centre while supplies last, with no registration required to participate.

“We’ll chat about all the wonderful things we can do with the power of the sun while creating some unique art pieces,” said park interpreter Rhys Mah Poy. “We look forward to seeing you there!”
