The Medicine Hat Interpretive program has an important point to make with one of their latest offerings, their Plastic-Free Barbeque and Sustainability Market.

“Hosting a BBQ without single-use plastic waste is not only possible, it’s preferable. In an

effort to gather community while still being friendly to the planet, Roots Refillery and

The Interpretive Program have combined forces,” said MHIP.

From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Aug. 2, join fellow residents for a meal and visit several local vendors who are taking action to promote sustainability in the community.

The Interpretive Program will also offer fun, family-friendly activities throughout the day.

“Our goal is to help empower people to make easy changes to reduce single-use plastic waste in their own lives,” said MHIP.

This event is made possible by sponsorship from Metz Insurance Agency.
