A night of storytelling awaits surrounding some of the area’s most vocal neighbours with the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program’s latest offering, “Evening Coyotes.”

“Coyotes are an important part of the prairie ecosystem and are North America’s most vocal land animal, making them the perfect topic for an evening program,” said park interpreter Erika Derman.

Those attending will be sitting around the fire pit behind the Nature Centre in Police Point Park starting at 8 p.m. on July 11.

“Hopefully we will get to hear these song dogs as we share some stories,” said Derman.

Evening Coyotes is a free public program and story sharing is encouraged, but not required. Participants are encouraged to dress for the weather, and are asked to register by calling 403-529-6225.
