Lions Club fundraising barbecue Sunday at Golden Sheaf

The Community View Lions Club’s second summer barbecue fundraiser of the season is set for Sunday at Golden Sheaf Park in Cypress County (Rattlesnake Reservoir).

Along with the barbecue from noon to 6 p.m., a treasure hunt for rubber ducks hidden in the area is open to children and provides a free hot dog to the finder.

Future events are scheduled for July 19, Aug. 2, 9 and 31.

Funds raised support the club’s endeavours and causes.
