McCoy High student orientation to include carnival games and foods

In August Monsignor McCoy High School will open its doors to new students during an orientation open house that will allow them to explore the school and classes and find their lockers, and will also include some carnival-style games and food.

New students are invited to sign up for a half-hour time block at McCoy High School between 12:30 and 3 p.m. on Aug. 25 to receive a guided tour of the school and enjoy the games and food presented by Community Coming Together.

“Join CCT for an afternoon of fun and a chance to explore the school, find your locker and learn where your classes are before the school year officially starts,” reads a press release.

The first day of classes for Grade 1-12 students in the Catholic division is Aug. 28, and kindergarten will resume Sept. 3.
