Enthusiasm, expertise, or both in regards to the South Saskatchewan River are all that’s required for the latest guided nature walk from the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program.

The walk, which will focus on the various species of summering fishes in the river, will be hosted June 18, starting in the Nature Centre.

Participants will follow an interpreter for an hour-and-a-half walk along the river as they discuss summer behaviours of aquatic animals and the different types living in the river system.

The walk is free to attend, and requires no registration. Those interested only need to show up to the Nature Centre at 9:30 a.m.

For more information on this or any other program, residents can call the Nature line at 403-529-6225 or visit http://www.natureline.info.
