VALENTINA “GLENDA”PEDERZOLLI

1938 ~ VALENTINA “GLENDA”PEDERZOLLI ~ 2025
A Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother. A True Hero to her family and Community!
With grace, Glenda Pederzolli of Medicine Hat, Alberta, passed away peacefully at the age of 87 on Wednesday, May 14, 2025.
She leaves behind a cherished legacy through her two sons, Randal and Rory; her grandchildren, Rachele (Ashton) Robertson and Rae-Leigh Pederzolli; her adored great-grandchildren, Paisley, Dryden and Greeley Robertson-each of whom brought her immense joy and pride. She also leaves her beloved brothers, Ransey Volk and Kelly Volk.
Glenda was born on April 21, 1938, in the small community of Fox Valley, Saskatchewan. She was the cherished daughter of Max and Lydia Volk. In 1948, the family made a new beginning in Medicine Hat, a place that would become Glenda’s lifelong home. It was there she grew up, attended high school, and met the love of her life, Aldo Pederzolli. From the moment they met, Glenda and Aldo shared a deep and enduring love. That love carried them through a lifetime together, filled with joy, hard work, and devotion.
Aldo and Glenda built a life together rooted in love, hard work, and the beauty of the countryside. For 65 years, as the farm grew and thrived, Glenda was its heart and soul, not just living on the land, but helping to shape it with her hands. She was the driving force in creating a place of purpose and warmth. The farm wasn’t just where she lived, it was where she built a life, grounded in dedication, laughter, and deep, enduring love.
She welcomed everyone with open arms and a warm smile, making all who visited feel like family. She poured her love into every meal she cooked, every corner of the yard she tended, and every task, no matter how difficult. Whether she was butchering chickens, preparing food for the branding crew, or delivering hot meals out to the fields during harvest, Glenda did it all tirelessly without a word of complaint. Her spirit was steady, her hands always busy, and her heart forever generous. Through it all, she brought light, warmth, and joy to the life they built on the farm.
Her smile was constant, her heart was warm, and her fridge was always full.
She will be remembered for her gentle heart, unwavering kindness, and her quiet strength. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. There will be no funeral service held.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Root Cellar Food & Wellness Hub, a place that shares Glenda’s heart for nourishing others and building community. Donations can be made at http://www.mhfoodbank.com. Condolences may be sent to condolences@saamis.com subject heading Glenda Pederzolli. Funeral arrangements by
