newsdesk@medicinehatnews.com The city has opened two of its four spray parks for kids and families looking to cool down over the long weekend. Both the Strathcona Island Park and Kiwanis Central Park spray parks opened for the season on Friday with normal operation hours from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Next Friday, May 23, the city will open the remaining two spay parks located at Ross Glen Park and the Saamis Rotary Park, with the same operating hours. Later this month both Strathcona outdoor pool as well as the Echo Dale Swim Lake are expected to open for the season. Both outdoor facilities are scheduled to open to the public on May 30. Hill Pool will remain closed until maintenance work is completed and is expected to reopen by the end of June. 7
