Waves Swim Club races at Challenge in Lethbridge

The Medicine Hat Waves Swim Club sent 23 swimmers to Lethbridge this weekend.

Three swimmers, Quinn Baht, Isabel Miller and Connor Tweten all made qualifying times for the Provincial Summer Festival Meet in June. A total of 17 club records were broken by four swimmers, Ellis Anstey, Wesley Henderson, Isabel Unreiner and Jordan Hill.

Ellis Anstey (7): Finished fifth in 50m Back, sixth in 100m Back, seventh in 50m Free, eighth in 50m Breast and 100m Free and ninth in 100m Breast.

Quinn Baht (10): Finished first in 50m Fly and 100m Fly, second in 50m Back and 100m Back and third in 50m Free and 200m IM.

Sophie Baht (13): Finished fifth in 100m Breast, seventh in 50m Free and 200m Free, ninth in 50m Fly and 15th in 50m Back.

Connor Donnelly (10): Finished seventh in 50m Fly, eighth in 50m Free and 10th in 100m Back.

Marcus Fanning (11): Finished 22nd in 100m Breast, 24th in 50m Free and 29th in 100m Back.

Kaden Goffinet (16): Finished first in 50m Breast, 100m Breast and 200m Breast, fourth in 200m Free, sixth in 100m Free, ninth in 50m Free and 50m Back and 10th in 50m Fly.

Owen Gracie (14): Finished seventh in 50m Breast, 10th in 200m Breast, 12th in 100m Free, 15th in 50m Free and 50m Fly and 16th in 100m Breast.

Wesley Henderson (8): Finished first in 200m Breast, second in 50m Breast, 100m Free and 100m Breast, third in 100m Back and fourth in 50m Free.

Jordan Hill (16): Finished third in 200m Free, fourth in 100m Breast, 200m Back and 200m Breast, fifth in 400m Free, sixth in 50m Back, eighth in 100m Back and ninth in 100m Free.

Elizabeth Humphreys (14): Finished sixth in 50m Breast and 50m Free, seventh in 100m Breast, eighth in 50m Fly and 100m Free and 10th in 50m Back.

Sydni Martens (21): Finished first in 100m Breast, second in 50m Back, 50m Free and 50m Breast and third in 50m Fly and 100m Free.

Avery McDonald (12): Finished third in 50m Breast, ninth in 100m Breast, 10th in 50m Free, 13th in 50m Fly and 100m Free, 14th in 200m Free, 23rd in 50m Back and 25th in 100m Back.

Isabel Miller (12): Finished first in 200m Breast, 11th in 200m Free and 24th in 50m Back.

Jonathan Miller (14): Finished 13th in 100m Free, 14th in 50m Back and 400m Free, 16th in 50m Free, 18th in 200m Free, 19th in 50m Fly, 23rd in 100m Breast and 27th in 100m Back.

William Miller (16): Finished first in 200m Free and 400m Free, third in 50m Free, 100m Fly and 200m IM, fourth in 100m Free, sixth in 50m Fly and seventh in 100m Back.

Ivana Motsi (10): Finished eighth in 200m Free and 11th in 50m Back.

Sunai Motsi (8): Finished 14th in 200m Free and 19th in 50m Back.

Avery Tweten (7): Finished 13th in 50m Breast, 15th in 100m Back, 16th in 100m Free and 17th in 50m Free and 50m Back.

Connor Tweten (12): Finished second in 50m Breast, fourth in 50m Fly, 100m Free and 200m Breast, fifth in 100m Breast, seventh in 200m IM and ninth in 50m Back and 200m Free.

Oliver Tweten (10): Finished first in 200m Breast, fifth in 100m Breast, sixth in 50m Breast, 50m Free and 200m Free, seventh in 100m Back and ninth in 50m Back and 100m Free.

Isabel Unreiner (15): Finished third in 100m Breast, fourth in 200m Free, seventh in 50m Back, eighth in 50m Fly, 50m Breast and 100m Free and ninth in 50m Free and 100m back.

Hazel Vossler (13): Finished 11th in 200m Breast, 14th in 50m Breast, 17th in 50m Free, 100m Breast and 200m Free, 20th in 50m Fly, 21st in 100m Free and 25th in 50m Back.

Olivia Willberg (13): Finished sixth in 200m Back, 10th in 100m Back, 13th in 50m Free, 14th in 100m Free, 15th in 100m Breast and 200m Free, 18th in 50m Fly and 21st in 50m Back.
