newsdesk@medicinehatnews.com Tonight the Medicine Hat Public Library is hosting a one-hour information session for teenagers who are being bullied, or know someone who is being bullied. Teens aged 13-19 are invited to drop by the Honeycomb House at the library from 5-6 p.m. to learn how to set healthy boundaries and tips on how to stand up for yourself. The Honeycomb House is located on the lower level of the library and is open for drop-in for teens to study, relax, play video games and hang out. Board Game Night Additionally tonight the library partnered with MT Nest Cafe & Market to host a three-hour “Brews & Board Games” game night. “Whether you’re a strategy master or a casual player, come enjoy friendly competition, meet new people and explore classic and modern board games,” reads a promotional ad. No experience in any games is required. The game night kicks off at 6 p.m. at MT Nest Cafe & Market. The game night is also held in collaboration with library partners Recovery Alberta and What Matters To Hatters. Carnival night Friday evening teens are invited to enjoy a night of classic carnival games during TIC TAC Presents: Carnival Night. The night of fun kicks off at 6:45 p.m. in the Honor Currie Room, Legion Room and Theatre and will include giant versions of games including Giant Hungry, Hungry Hippos and Human TIC-TAC-TOE. The evening will also feature classic midway games like ring toss and rubber duck fishing. Teens will be able to earn tokens throughout the night that can be redeemed for prizes. Doors will only be open from 6:45-7:15 p.m April 25 and will be locked after for safety reasons. The carnival night runs until 9 p.m. 15
