Boxing Club fights in Montana show over weekend

The Medicine Hat Boxing Club fought South of the border over the weekend.

The local boxing club sent four fighters to the North American Indigenous Championships in Ft. Belknap, Mont.

Zac Czember defeated Karmen Carferro from Billings in the 32 kg. Junior B division. Gavin Russell lost to Reece Martell from Billings in the 46 kg. Junior B class.

Jacob Walne defeated U.S. national finalist Dillon Martin from Helena in the 60 kg. Junior C division and Nate Vossler lost to U.S. national finalist Buster Carferro from Missoula in the 60 kg youth.

Medicine Hat boxing coach Kerry Fahlman says all four matches were close and could have gone either way.
