The local swim club sent four swimmers to Calgary for the Winter Provincial Trials from Friday to Sunday. Isabel Miller (12) Finished 30th in 200m Breast, 45th in 50m Breast, 46th in 100m IM, 61st in 200m IM, 64th in 100m Free and 86th in 50m Free. Sophie Baht (13) Finished 10th in 100m Breast, 13th in 100m IM, 24th in 50m Fly and 50m Free, 28th in 200m Breast and 38th in 100m Free. Elizabeth Humphreys (14) Finished eighth in 50m Fly, 11th in 50m Free, 13th in 50m Breast, 14th in 100m Breast, 18th in 100m IM and 24th in 100m Back. Kaden Goffinet (16) Finished first in the 200m Breast, second in 100m Breast and 200m IM, fourth in 50m Breast, 11th in 50m Free and 12th in 100m Free. Goffinet won the 16 and over Boys 200m Breaststroke, qualifying him for the provincial championships in Edmonton from March 20-23. The Waves Swim Club will send three swimmers to the Alberta championships, with two having previously qualified. 10
