MHIP hosting afternoon nature walk for the spring equinox

The official first day of spring is in less than three weeks, and the Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is inviting residents out to search for the signs of the season.

The Spring Equinox Nature Walk, which will take place in Police Point Park from 2-3 p.m on March 20, will search for “returning migratory birds, new plant growth, budding trees, butterflies, and bees,” said park interpreter Erika Derman.

No registration is required for this free program, so all those interested in appreciating the start of the season need to do is meet at the Nature Centre and dress for the weather.
