Waves Swim Club races in Jr. Sask. provincials

The Medicine Hat Waves Swim Club raced in Saskatchewan over the weekend.

Waves sent 14 swimmers to the Saskatchewan SC Junior provincials meet, held Friday to Sunday in Moose Jaw.

Here are the local results:

Quinn Baht (10); Finished third in three races, the 50m Back, 100m Back and 200m Free, fourth in 100m Free and 400m Free, fifth in 200m Back, eighth in 50m Fly and 10th in 50m Free.

Sophie Baht (13): Finished third in 100m Breast and 200m Breast, sixth in 100m Fly, eighth in 100m Free, 10th in 50m Free and 16th in 50m Back.

Hadlee Dunbar (10): Finished seventh in 50m Fly, eighth in 400m Free, 15th in 100m Back, 18th in 200m Free and 27th in 50m Breast and 50m Free.

Kaden Goffinet (16): Finished first in a pair of races, 100m Breast and 200m Breast, second in 50m Free and third in 50m Fly.

Owen Gracie (14): Finished third in 200m IM, fourth in 200m Breast, sixth in 50m Back and 50m Breast, 11th in 100m Free and 13th in 50m Free.

Wesley Henderson (8): Finished second in 100m Breast, third in 50m Breast, fifth in 200m Breast, seventh in 100m Free, 11th in 50m Fly, 12th in 50m Free and 13th in 50m Back.

Jordan Hill (16): Finished fourth in 400m Free, fifth in 200m Breast, eighth in 100m Breast and 100m Back, 10th in 200m Free and 18th in 100m Free.

Elizabeth Humphreys (14): Finished first in three races, 50m Breast, 50m Free and 100m Breast and third in 50m Back.

Sydni Martens (21): Finished 20th in 50m Breast, 23rd in 200m Free, 25th in 100m Back, 26th in 50m Back, 31st in 100m Free and 33rd in 50m Free.

Ayslin Sanderson (9): Finished 10th in 100m Fly, 19th in 200m Free and 26th in 50m Free.

Avery Tweten (7): Finished 30th in 100m Back, 33rd in 100m Free, 34th in 50m Back and 49th in 50m Free.

Connor Tweten (120: Finished second in 800m Free, third in 400m Free, eighth in 200m Breast, 10th in 100m Breast, 14th in 50m Fly, 15th in 50m Breast and 100m Free.

Oliver Tweten (9): Finished eight in 100m Breast, 12th in 200m Breast, 15th in 50m Breast, 18th in 50m Back, 20th in 100m Back, 22nd in 200m Free and 30th in 100m Free.

Isabel Unreiner (15): Finished 10th in 50m Breast and 50m Fly, 13th in 50m Free and 17th in 100m Free.
