Prairie Pride Guild hosting ‘ask us anything’ event to build community connection

The Prairie Pride Guild of Medicine Hat and District is looking to foster open understanding with an “ask us anything” event.

The event offers an opportunity for residents to connect with diverse community members, including two-spirit, non-binary or gay individuals, or an allied parent of a trans child, the Prairie Pride Guild says.

“This is a safe, inclusive space for genuine learning, fostering understanding and embracing growth through respectful dialogue and shared experiences,” said the Guild. “Space will be made to meet you where you are at, leaving room for mistakes in preferred language. Join us to expand your knowledge and build empathetic connections, all identities welcome with open hearts and curious minds.”

The event will be held March 13 from 6-8 p.m. at Bridges Family Programs Group Space, 539 Fourth St. SE. All members of the community are welcome to attend.
