EDMONTON — Ethan MacKenzie scored twice and notched an assist as his Edmonton Oil Kings dumped the Regina Pats 5-2 in Western Hockey League play on Wednesday.

Blake Fiddler, Marshall Finnie and Lukas Sawchyn also scored for the Oil Kings (28-19-4), and Ethan Simcoe made 18 saves.

Jace Egland and Keets Fawcett replied for the Pats (14-32-6).

It was a busy night in net for goalie Ewan Huet, who stopped 42 of the 47 shots he faced as Regina dropped a third straight contest.
