Representatives of Alberta Beef Producers say they are continuing talks with U.S. stakeholders to discuss the impact of potential tariffs while attending America’s largest national cattle industry conference, known as CattleCon, held in San Antonio, Texas.

Wednesday, Alberta Beef Producers hosted a discussion around tariffs and wildlife interactions with the Colorado Cattlemen’s Association, Alberta Cattle Feeders’ Association and the National Cattle Feeders’ Association.

As well, the ABP accepted an invitation to attend a reception hosted by the Montana Stockgrowers Association.

On Thursday representatives enjoyed a “more relaxed” visit with their counterparts from Montana as CattleCon 2025 wrapped up.
