asmith@medicinehatnews.com The Wildlife Festival is back in Medicine Hat this weekend, allowing residents to get to know a little more about the world beyond their backyards. Ran by Cobbs Exotic Animal Rescue & Education Foundation, a non-profit based out of Calgary, the event brings stage shows, educational displays and interactive experiences with animals that aim to “teach, entertain and delight all who attend.” Proceeds of the event, which features three exhibits focusing on various places and aspects of the natural world, will all go toward supporting the care of various exotic animals who rely on the rescue. Hosted at the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede Pavilion until Feb. 2, the Wildlife Festival is dedicated to the rescue and rehabilitation of exotic animals, as well as providing education to the public about these amazing creatures. 6
