RCMP say dogs ran over near Bindloss was unintentional after speaking with driver

RCMP in Oyen now believe an accident that left two dogs dead on the weekend was unintentional.

Mounties had said that they were searching for a car that was allegedly seen swerving on a road near Bindloss on Sunday morning in an apparent attempt to strike two great pyrenees.

On Tuesday, officers stated that the driver has reported to the detachment and investigation has determined the young driver and family members made attempts to locate the dog’s owner following the collision.

The case is now considered closed.
