The Philanthropic Educational Organization is organizing another fundraiser to support applicants seeking higher education.

Medicine Hat’s local J chapter of the organization may be far removed from their founding members from 1869, but they are a proud part of an organization that has boasted more than $430 million in scholarship and loan programs, serving 125,000 deserving applicants across the globe, says Susan Supeene with the Medicine Hat PEO.

On Feb 15, musicians from the Medicine Hat College Voice Academy with Constantine Shandro and St. Patrick’s Loft Choir, among others, will put on a musical performance to raise funds for applicants to attend post-secondary programs.

“Vocalists, dancers, pianists, a guitarist and a choir will be advancing the cause by sharing their gifts in an upcoming concert. All you have to do is come and enjoy it,” says Supeene. “Please support the Medicine Hat chapter of PEO and enjoy some exceptional performances from Bach to Riverdance,”

The show begins at 7:30 p.m. at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, and admission will be by donation.
