RCMP seek suspect after dogs allegedly ran over intentionally near Bindloss

Mounties in Oyen are looking for information about a vehicle they believe was intentionally used to run over two dogs near Bindloss.

RCMP said Monday that a white sedan was travelling on Railway Avenue in the hamlet on Sunday at about 10 a.m. It was seen to accelerate and swerve off the road where it struck and killed two large white pyrenees dogs.

Police believe the front end of the car was significantly damaged.

Oyen RCMP are investigating what they consider a hit and run collision. Anyone with information should contact the Oyen detachment at 403-664-3505 or Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.

Bindloss is located about 50 kilometres south of Oyen.
