Fire service extinguishes garage fire Saturday morning

The Medicine Hat Fire Services responded to a garage fire early Saturday morning.

Fire crews were dispatched at 1:48 a.m. to a garage fire in Hull Crescent Northeast.

The Fire service says, via a social media post Monday, the fire was brought under control with no injuries reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Medicine Hat’s Fire Service reminds residents there should be two ways out of the home and they should have an outside meeting place (like a tree, light pole or mailbox) a safe distance in front of the home where they can be easily found by firefighters.
