News publishing schedule for Christmas week

A reminder to our readers that there will be no publication on Christmas Day (Wednesday) or Boxing Day (Thursday), but as always we will publish Christmas Eve.

The News office will close at noon on Tuesday and remain closed for the remainder of the week, reopening at regular hours on Dec. 30.

Watch for the editorial department’s pick for the Newsmaker of the Year, which will run on Dec. 31, followed by the Story of the Year, which will be unveiled New Year’s Day.

Numerous year-in-review stories will run throughout next week as well, from a wrap of city hall, to the extensive arts scene that continues to grow in Medicine Hat.

Those will start on Tuesday and run until the end of 2024.
