The Medicine Hat Boxing Club was in action last weekend in Saskatchewan.
Five local fighters attended an event in Leader, Sask.
Kade Steiger won unanimous over Casey Jensen from Sandhills Club, Tavin Booker lost to Carsyn Priel from North Battleford in a bout that coach Kerry Fahlman says was the top fight of the night.
Gavin Russell defeated Dryden Platt from Sunshine Club Regina, Jacob Walne lost what Fahlman says was an unpopular decision to Jacey Kasakam from Saskatoon.
Nate Vossler stepped up a weight division, losing to Jack Senga from Sunshine Boxing.
The next action for the local boxing club will be in Medicine Hat for the Silver Gloves tournament Jan. 18-19, held at the Medicine Hat Lodge.
