The Nobel Prize ceremony in Sweden has begun and British Canadian AI pioneer Geoffrey Hinton will shortly be given his award.
The presentation is being held at the Stockholm Concert Hall, where King Carl XVI Gustaf of Sweden is expected to bestow the award on Hinton and his physics prize co-laureate, John Hopfield.
