asmith@medicinehatnews.com The Medicine Hat Interpretive Program is pleased to get truly down to earth with its latest program offering, Wild About Worms. “Where do worms go in the winter? How long do they live? Why do they come out of the ground when it rains? What kinds of worms live here in southeast Alberta? We will share the answers to these questions and more during this family-friendly public program,” says park interpreter Genevieve Mathieu. The program will take place at the Nature Centre from 2-3 p.m. this Sunday, and in addition, will feature live worms for hands-on learning. Registration is not required, and this program comes at no cost to the public. For more information, residents are encouraged to visit the Nature Centre, or call the Nature Line at 403-529-6225. 6
