asmith@medicinehatnews.com Early Holiday shoppers will find themselves spoiled for choice on Friday, as three separate Holiday markets will be opening their doors for those in search of the perfect gift. Nov. 15-16 is the Medicine Hat Exhibition & Stampede Farmers’ Market Christmas, which is hosted at the Cypress Centre. This year’s hours are noon to 8 p.m. on the Friday, and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday. Admission is $2 for adults, 12 and under are free. The event will feature various vendors, as well as a mailbox for kids to send their letters to Santa. Likewise, the Mistletoe Market, a new event for this year at the Medicine Hat Lodge, will be on Nov. 15 as a measure to demonstrate how much the value the community. Guests will enjoy a variety of local handmade businesses, while also being able to enjoy Christmas music, food and drink provided by the hotel. The event will run from 5-10 p.m. For the earliest shoppers, the River Ridge Senior’s village will be offering their Bake Sale and Christmas Fair from 10 a.m to 3 p.m. with a collection of “festive treats, handcrafted gifts, and plenty of holiday cheer.” 8
