Nominations open for Cypress County’s 2025 Farm Family of the Year

Nominations are officially open to help select Cypress County’s 2025 Farm Family of the Year.

The BMO Bank of Montreal Farm Family of the Year award aims to recognize an outstanding southern Alberta farm family that typifies the value of the family farmer to rural communities.

Nominees must live within Cypress County, must be active within primary agriculture, have agriculture as their primary source of income and must have members currently residing on the farm itself.

The winning family will be selected by the Agriculture Service Board to be honoured both by the county and at the 2025 Calgary Stampede.

Nominations can be made via mailing in a form available on the Cypress County website.
