TERRY LYNN ADAMS
TERRY LYNN ADAMS With deep sorrow, sadness, and shock, we announce the passing of lifelong Medicine Hatter, Terry Lynn Adams, who left us peacefully on October 16, 2024. Terry was 63 years old. Terry’s kind heart and generous spirit touched many lives in ways the family are just now discovering.
Terry is survived by her beloved son, Cody Adams, sister, Cindy (Kloie) Picot, nephews Justin Sykes Adams, Luke Adams and niece Kristen Adams. Terry is predeceased by her brothers Steve and Darrell Adams and her parents Phyllis and Sterling Adams. Terry also leaves behind many cousins, aunts and uncles from Vancouver Island to Prince Edward Island, all of whom remember her for her bigger than life smile and laughter.
Terry had a deep passion for reading, especially fantasy book series, and was a regular at the Medicine Hat Library, where she found solace and inspiration. Her creative side shone through in her love for crafting, especially in her beautiful wreaths, which she generously donated to Medicine Hat Cares to support those in need. Her contributions brought joy and comfort to many, reflecting the size of her heart.
However, the biggest part of Terry’s heart belonged to her son, Cody, who was the light of her life. Terry always thought her biggest accomplishment was her son.
Terry Lynn Adams will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, laughter and the deep love she had for her family and community. She is deeply missed; we take solace that her spirit will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.
