Heifer sale raises funds for HALO air ambulance

More than $10,000 was raised for HALO following the purchase of a donated heifer during a Medicine Hat Feeding Company Auction on Monday morning.

The 510-pound Black Angus heifer was finally purchased for $10,420.50 after multiple buyers donated it back for re-bidding, according to a social media post by HALO Air Ambulance.

The heifer was donated from Stuber Ranching to help keep HALO in service.

“Thank you, Stuber Family, Medicine Hat Feeding Company and all the buyers today for helping HALO stay ‘in flight for your life.'”
