JACQUELINE (JACKIE) LORETTA FRAZER (NEE CHAYKOWSKI) Born July 14th, 1946, died October 18th, 2024 It is with great sadness that we announce Jackie Frazer passed peacefully on October 18th, 2024, at the age of 78 in Medicine Hat Hospital after a long illness.
Jackie was born July 14th, 1946, in Spirit River, Saskatchewan to Mike and Olga Chaykowski. The family moved to Medicine Hat in 1950. She graduated from Crescent Heights High School and moved to the Edmonton area where she trained as an RN at Alberta Hospital. She married Richard Frazer in Edmonton in 1970 and had two sons, Kevin in 1973 and Corey in 1977. Jackie moved to Swan River and worked as a RPN at the Swan River Personal Care Home before retiring and returning to Medicine Hat in 2017 to be closer to her family.
Jackie was pre-deceased by her parents, Mike and Olga Chaykowski and her son, Kevin. She is survived by her siblings, Ron Chaykowski (Marilyn), Kathy Zolner (Ron), Michael Chaykowski (Karen), and Pat Klemen; brother-in-law, George Klemen; as well as her husband, Richard and son, Corey.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday October 28th at St Paul Lutheran Church in Medicine Hat at 11:00am, luncheon to follow.

BILL DONOHUE 1962 ~ 2024 William James Donohue, more affectionately known as Bill or Billy, age 62 of Medicine Hat, passed away suddenly on Sunday, October 13, 2024. He was born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, the second child of Jeannine and the late William James Donohue. He is also predeceased by his step-father, Owen Hazel.Bill proudly served his country as a Paratrooper until his retirement in 1996.Bill loved fishing and the outdoors. He was passionate about many things in life including butchering, cooking and especially community involvement. Bill was most passionate about spending time with his family and friends. 1945 ~ 2024 It is with great sadness the family of Melvin Milbert Bauer announce his passing on Thursday, October 17, 2024, while surrounded by his loving family. Left to honour Melvin’s memory are his three children, Tina, Melvin Jr. (Jenny) and Wanetta; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren as well as his extended family. As we bid farewell to Melvin, let us carry forward the love and laughter he brought into our lives. GORDON JACKLE 1931 – 2024
Gordon Roy Jackle passed away on Thursday, October 17, 2024, at the age of 93 years, beloved husband of Anita Jackle of Medicine Hat. He also leaves to cherish his memory his two children, Robert (Cherryl) Jackle, Rhonda Jackle and stepdaughter Norma (Dale) Burnett; five grandchildren, Landon (Renee) Hillman, Nicole Glasgo, Daniel (Karla) Hillman, Zachary (Trang) Burnett and Samantha Burnett; seven great grandchildren; one brother Harold Jackle and two sisters-in-law Margaret Jackle and Lavern (Lucien) Leroy as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Caroline and Ludwig Jackle, stepmother Edna, brother Edwin, sister Esther and her husband Bruce Martin, and sister-in-law Irene Jackle.
Gordon was born on October 9, 1931, in a farmhouse Southeast of Fox Valley, Saskatchewan. He was raised on the family farm in the same area. In the mid 1950’s, Gordon bought his own place in Golden Prairie, Saskatchewan. Here along with his wife Anita, they farmed, ranched and raised their family. They were on their farm for almost 50 years. He retired in 2005, at the age of 74. Gordon said at the time, that all he wanted was five years of retirement. He was blessed with 19 years. Gordon enjoyed going to community dances, playing cards, and socializing with his friends and family.
Family and friends who wish to pay their respects may do so at the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME on Thursday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. The funeral service will be held in the PATTISON FUNERAL HOME & CELEBRATION OF LIFE CENTRE on Friday, October 25, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
