Community invited for a night of French Christmas carols

Later in November French immersion students and staff will be hosting an hour-long event to sing, join along in carols en français and enjoy some desserts.

To celebrate the holiday season the Catholic school division announced their “Joyeux Noel!” the event is planned between 6-7 p.m on November 21 at the Holy Family Parish.

“This is the perfect opportunity to experience the beauty of the French language and culture through song and taste buds,” states a release posted by the division Thursday.

The event is themed for all ages and will feature carols sung by K-12 students from Ecole St. John Paul II, St. Mary’s and McCoy High School. Adding to the cultural experience, traditional French dessert and light refreshments will be served following the carols.

No RSVP is required.
