Motorcyclist left with serious injuries following morning collision

Police say a motorcyclist sustained serious injuries and was transported to hospital after a collision with a truck around 7:20 a.m. in the 800 block of Gershaw Drive on Tuesday.

First responders including police, fire and EMS responded to the report of a vehicle collision involving injuries that affected traffic along Gershaw Drive and the Trans-Canada Highway.

Police say the driver of the truck did not sustain any injuries.

The collision remains under investigation. Police are seeking assistance from members of the public who witnessed the collision and have not yet spoken to investigators.
