Tenth annual Dominic Strong online auction raises over $11,000

The tenth annual Dominic Strong online auction raised $11,721 for the Alberta Children’s Hospital Foundation, organizers report.

The event is organized by Medicine Hatters Trish and Sean Rooney and held in honour of the couple’s son, Dominic. He died at age 2 in 2015 of leukemia.

The latest auction of 124 donated items brings the total amount of money raised for children’s health causes to more than $300,000.

Arrangements are now being completed to transfer funds and merchandise.
