Waterton
Nestled in the Rocky Mountains of southern Alberta, Waterton is a stunning little gem where fall transforms the landscape into an artist or adventurer’s dream. The town is quiet this time of year, giving you more room to explore and enjoy the mountain air. Go for a scenic drive to Cameron Lake, just a short distance from the townsite, where the fall foliage pops against the dramatic backdrop of the Rockies. Don’t forget the camera. Blakiston Falls (Red Rock Canyon) is an impressive waterfall and is the perfect photo opportunity for those fiery autumn hues. Treat yourself to a night (or two) for a weekend adventure at the Prince of Wales Hotel. Its beauty will take your breath away.
Twin Butte
Just a short drive from Waterton, Twin Butte is a tiny town that’s easy to miss if you don’t know it. Trust us, you want to make the stop. It’s the kind of place with a big, friendly personality.
