CP NewsAlert: Canfor shuts two northern B.C. sawmills with 500 employees

Canfor Corp. has announced it is shutting two northern B.C. sawmills in a move it says will impact about 500 workers.

It says that shutting the Plateau and Fort St. John operations will also remove 670 million board feet of annual production capacity.
