Medicine Hat Open begins today at the tennis club

The Medicine Hat Tennis Club will wrap up August this week with the annual Open. The Medicine Hat Open, featuring men’s and women’s singles and doubles events, begins today at the local club. There will be three nights of evening matches, starting today through Friday, with play underway at 5 p.m. Saturday will feature all-day matches and Sunday is when champions are crowned with the finals. Play on Saturday gets underway at 11 a.m. Tennis fans or those interested in the sport are invited to attend and take in the week’s action. 6-5
